Zombies in Call of Duty: Warzone leaked... by calling cards

New calling cards reward players for killing the undead.

It looks like Zombies have been confirmed for Call of Duty: Warzone.

As spotted by Eurogamer, players have started to notice new calling card challenges following Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War rolling out earlier today. Some of these are rewards for players if they manage to kill some Zombies in Call of Duty: Warzone.

This follows speculation that Zombies could be coming to the free-to-play battle royale portion of Call of Duty. Earlier in February, a Black Ops Cold War Zombies trial machine popped up in the mode's hospital, while a radio in the offices area was playing a message in Russian. This was talking about a ship called Vodyanoy docking at Verdansk with a particular cargo. This could be Zombies, we guess?

Interestingly, at the end of the Modern Warfare storyline for Warzone, John “Soap” MacTavish said in a message to Captain Price that he was "half a click off the coast" and could possibly be on said boat.

Zombies are coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War tomorrow anyways with the debut of Outbreak mode. This is an open-world game type that has players collaborating to complete various objectives.

Last year, Activision said that the Call of Duty franchise had generated $3 billion in just 12 months thanks to Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
