Your Dragon Age: Inquisition party will not include Alistair

Everyone's favorite video game fantasy pretty boy Alistair won't be joining up with your crew to fight darkspawn and other mean things in Dragon Age: Inquisition, says BioWare's Mark Darrah on Twitter.

Alistair was a party member in Dragon Age: Origins, and if he made it through that game (i.e. if you didn't have him publicly executed) then he showed up in the Free Marches in Dragon Age 2, where that game's protagonist Hawke could hang out with him. You will be able to import your previous Dragon Age experiences into Inquisition via the Keep, so likely the same conditions apply this time.
