Your board is on fire and that's totally fine in Tony Hawk 5

We've got our first glimpse of gameplay in this series revival.

GamesHQ has captured a couple of minutes of footage from YouTube's E3 coverage, where The Birdman himself chats about what we can expect from the return of his skateboarding series.

It sounds like Robomodo's playing it by the book with the control scheme untouched and the inclusion of familiar levels like the school and the warehouse. The developer is also hoping to offer an expansion of the multiplayer aspect, with up to 20 players able to jump into a game together, as well as some more interesting environments to traverse and new ways to interact with them. The gameplay demo shows the player's board charged with electricity and even bursting into flames, and there's a mention of the new ability to shoot projectiles.
