Let's just say demo offers a better overview of Pokemon Sun & Moon than your initial exploration suggests.

Pokemon Sun & Moon launches in November for 3DS. It's not the first in the series to go 3D, but we're pretty keen to see how Game Freak builds on some very solid foundations set with the last entry.
Well, we'll find out today, I guess; the Pokemon Sun & Moon eShop demo is scheduled to go live October 18, which at time of writing was already underway on the West Coast, so refresh your local store frontage or Nintendo website and see if it's there. I couldn't find it on the Australian Nintendo website, but also it is a ghastly mess over there so that might not mean anything.
