You can start pre-loading Spider-Man tomorrow

Sony will let digital customers pre-load Spider-Man so they're ready to start playing at launch.

The Spider-Man review scores are pouring in, and it seems Sony and Insomniac have a legitimate hit on their hands. Fans will likely want to start playing the second it launches, which means digital players will want to take advantage of pre-load options.

Sony announced from its PlayStation Twitter account that you can start pre-loading Spider-Man on September 5, 2018 - two days before the official launch. There's no exact time for when the pre-load begins, but that's more than enough time to set up in advance.

Beyond the game itself, Insomniac recently revealed a DLC trilogy titled "The City That Never Sleeps". Chapter 1 already has a teaser trailer, but no release date just yet.

Spider-Man web-slings onto PlayStation 4 on September 7, 2018.
