Yakuza Kiwami 2 demo now available through the PlayStation Store
A demo for Yakuza Kiwami 2 has arrived on the PlayStation Store.
Want to give Yakuza Kiwami 2 a try before you buy? You're in luck: a demo is now available.
Just fire up your PlayStation 4, head to the PS Store, and download it.
The demo is just over 10GB in size and available in both Europe and North America.
Along with the demo, SEGA announced digital pre-order exclusives for the Yakuza 2 remake.
Those who pre-order any edition will receive the Yakuza Kiwami 2 Dragons Theme. Pre-ordering the special digital edition will net players the Special Item Pack.
The Special Item Pack includes the following:
- Demonfire Blade weapon
- Hostess Ono Michiyo
- Sotaro Komaki R Clan Card
- Jo Amon R Clan Card
- The Comedian Suit Outfit
- 1 Million Yen

The game is a full remake of Yakuza 2, rebuilt with the Dragon Engine used for Yakuza 6. Along with a graphics update, it also features re-recorded dialogue and cut-scenes.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 releases in Europe and North America on August 28. It will be available digitally and at retail for PS4.
