Wondering why the cinematics in XCOM: Enemy Unknown aren't doing justice to your fancy pants HD monitor? Fret not, friends; Firaxis has issued a patch for the PC version which corrects this minor cosmetic issue. Any movies should now present in glorious 1080p HD, as nature and your chosen settings dictate. For more informaiton on the update, visit Steam's patch notes.
