XCOM 2: War of the Chosen gameplay video provides a walkthrough of the Lost and Abandoned mission
2K and Firaxis Games have a released a gameplay walkthrough for XCOM 2: War of the Chosen.
In this gameplay video for the upcoming XCOM 2 expansion War of the Chosen, you'll get a look at the Lost who reside on the outskirts of the city centers. Here, the scars from the first invasion are a prominent feature, and the areas are full of these mutated survivors.
Described as the largest expansion yet for the game, XCOM 2 players will need to convince the three factions to set aside their differences in order to counter the strength of The Chosen.
The mission you'll see in the video features two of the new factions: the Reapers and the Skirmishers. Here, both factions ignore their mutual mistrust to join forces and face hordes of the Lost and one their Chosen.
Each Chosen character develops their capabilities alongside your Commander, and can be faced multiple times.
As you will see, the player is tasked with escorting representatives from the two groups, and the player will need to choose two teams to make contact with each faction.
If you want more information on the XCOM 2 mission seen in the video, you will have to watch it yourself as we don't want to post any potential spoilers.
Revealed at E3’s PC Gaming Show after teasing the expansion a bit ahead of time.
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 29. It will be released for Mac at a later date courtesy of Feral Interactive.
