XCOM 2 gamescom screens show home base, soldier customisation, research, more

XCOM 2 has produced a large chunk of new screens.
2K has released new screenshots for XCOM 2 that cover pretty much all aspects. They don't show any field action, as that it's better served with a video, but they do show what we've been waiting a while to see: the quiet side back at base.
There's a look at soldier customisation, threats, something called Dark Events, weapon loadouts, research, and plenty more.
