XCOM 2's new DLC has some pretty rad features.
Wear a Viper as a suit in new XCOM 2 DLC
XCOM 2: Alien Hunters is a little more substantial than the customisation packs Firaxis has produced in the past, if not the enormous expansion we're all hoping is down the line a bit.
The core content kicks off after you complete a new narrative mission. At any time during your campaign after that, you may find your missions are interrupted by one of three alien bosses.
Although there are some new prototype weapons to help you cope with these threats, the real reward from an equipment point of view are the suits of armour you build from the bosses's corpses when you do finally defeat them.
Not only do these suits offer unique bonuses, they scare the pants off any enemies of the same type. How'd you like me now, snake face?
Anyway, it's out now and 2K sent a new trailer, so that seemed like a good reason to think about skinning and wearing your enemies as a suit. Not that I particularly need encouragement in that regard.
You can pick up the Alien Hunters DLC for $10 or as part of the Reinforcement Pack season pass.
