Xbox One TV integration workaround fixes juddering issues, but isn't ideal for gaming

Xbox One's TV integration is reportedly suffering from visible shaking or vibration, according to reports earlier in the week. Today, a work around has been detailed, but as Eurogamer notes, it's not ideal.

HDTVTest, which spotted the issue originally, found that if the user forces Xbox One to output the matching TV signal - 50Hz - the problems is resolved.

Users should go into their display setting, and set the console to auto-detect HDMI. From there, toggle the resolution from 1080p to 720p or 720p to 1080p. A prompt will ask the user if they's like to keep the new resolution. Choose no. This apparently tricks the console into think the TV is not compatible with a 60Hz signal; thus forcing a 50Hz output.

For those who want to play games, this workaround is not an ideal, as even the games will output at 50Hz - which can cause stuttering.

This can be fixed if the user goes back in to the display setting after watching TV and switching back to 60Hz.

Microsoft has not addressed the issue as of press time.
