Xbox One exclusive digital prices increased by £5 in UK

Select Microsoft-published Xbox One games are now all £5 more expensive on Xbox Live than when the console launched in the UK.

If you take a look at the British Xbox Live listings for Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome, you'll see all three are now priced at £49.99.

At launch on November 22, all three titles were £44.99 - prices have inexplicably jumped by £5.

It's unclear what motivated the price increase or if it is permanent; we've contacted Microsoft representatives for more information.

Prices for fellow Microsoft-published Xbox One titles Crimson Dragon, Dead Rising 3: Premium Edition, Lococyle, Powerstar Golf and Zoo Tycoon have held steady.

The increase comes just days after some PS4 digital pricing was lowered by a minimal amount.

Thanks, CyberMarco.
