Xbox One dev Black Tusk pairing with Microsoft Research on unannounced project

Black Tusk Studios and Microsoft Research are pairing up on the former's mysterious, unannounced game, as confirmed by Phil Spencer. The Microsoft Studios boss has also shed some light on what to expect over at Tokyo Games Show next week.

Responding to a fan on Twitter, Spencer shared some wafer-thin insight:

The game was shown running on Xbox One via this teaser clip, and it has been teased as the start of a whole new franchise exclusive to the format. It looks like a shooter.

Spencer also added that he'll be meeting with Japanese developers while at TGS next week, and that D4 and Crimson Dragon will appear at the show. There is no Microsoft conference as such, but he added that there will be new playable content on the event floor.

What are you hoping to hear out of TGS next week? Let us know below.
