Takashi Sensui, head of Xbox in Japan has stepped down following disappointing sales numbers.

Xbox One has not been doing well in Japan since it launched back in September. The console has only sold 38,461 units thus far.

Amid this terrible performance, Microsoft's head of Xbox Japan has stepped down. He will remain with the company, working at the US headquarters instead.

According to the most recent recent Media Create chart, only 776 Xbox One consoles were sold last week. A far cry from PS4's 12.4k units and Wii U's 9.6k units.
