Microsoft is teasing a new addition to Xbox Game Pass and it might be Control

Microsoft is teasing a new addition to Xbox Game Pass in December, and it might be Remedy's Control.

Apparently, a "much-discussed" game is coming to Xbox Game Pass in December, and it's possible that the game is Control, going by this tweet from the Xbox Game Pass account.

Last year around this time, Xbox head Phil Spencer said during an Extra Life charity stream the game would be coming to the service.

The game's publisher, 505 Games, released a statement after the fact claiming this was false, and Microsoft backed up the denial.

At the time, it seems wires were crossed between the two companies, but that may soon change if the "sinister red light gif" mentioned in the tweet is any indication.

We'll be sure to let you know if or when Control is coming to Xbox Game Pass.

Control is now available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The Ultimate Edition features an upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Control Ultimate Edition - Cloud Version is also out on Switch.
