WoW Patch 5.3 contains heroic mode and four new scenarios

World of Warcraft Patch 5.3 will come with new scenarios and heroic modes, and whether you’re Horde or Alliance, you’ll be able to get in on the action.

The new scenarios are Blood in the Snow and Dark Heart of Pandaria are both are part of the Battlefield Barrens storyline. The two other scenarios are Secrets of Ragefire and Battle on the High Seas.

A heroic difficulty option has been added for the scenarios, and is available for two previously released scenarios rypt of Forgotten Kings and A Brewing Storm.

To queue for this new mode, you’ll need an item level of 480 and some friends to help you out.

Going all heroic will reward players with Valor Points and a chance to obtain Raid Finder-quality items. A bonus objective for additional Valor will also be available, but you will only be able to earn this within Normal or Heroic modes and not both within a 24 hour period.

Random heroic scenarios will reward a Heroic Cache of Treasure and 120 Valor Points for successful completion.
