Fully localized Italian version of World of Warcraft in the works

Blizzard has announced it's developing a fully localized Italian version of World of Warcraft.

Upon release later this year, those who wish to experience the game in Italian will be able to download a free language pack. New players will be able to purchase the Italian version digitally and at retail.

Players will benefit from customer service and in-game support in Italian as well as phone and web support. Community site and forums will also be offered in Italian, and realms dedicated to the Italian community will be made available to all European players.

Italian will be WoW's eleventh supported language overall and the seventh supported language in Europe, and all previously released expansions will be available in the language as well as Mist of Pandaria when it releases.

WoW is already available in English, German, European and Latin American Spanish, French, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese and Korean.
