Worms Battlegrounds is Team 17's new game, coming to Xbox One and PS4

Team 17 has announced the name of the next game in its Worms franchise, dubbed Worms Battlegrounds. The studio also confirmed that it will be out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this year.

Worms Battlegrounds is the Worms game that was confirmed this morning to be among the first ID@Xbox games. Team 17 will also be self-publishing the game on PlayStation 4, with no information given about a PC release.

Currently there are no details about the game, though we expect to hear more about it with the debut of Xbox's ID@Xbox in March.
