Calm before the GTA storm this week, unless you're a Western Wii owner or live in Japan and like your DS - as several million of you do, apparently.

US PS3 gamers do get the CoD4: Modern Warfare GotY Edition, however, and NBA Ballers: Chosen One also makes its multiplatform debut Stateside.

The aforementioned basketball bash also hits 360 owners in Europe, with no PS3 games released whatsoever over here (no PSP either), which, if you check out the last few weeks, is something of a recurring trend.

Japan's a little luckier with the much anticipated Senjou no Valkyria (Valkyria Chronicles) available.

Unbelievably, there are a grand total of 36 DS games coming out worldwide this week, with the Japanese market hoarding 25. Maybe that's the secret to selling loads of units, eh?
