Wolfenstein devs have released a new Quake episode for free

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Quake, Wolfenstein: The New Order developer MachineGames has created a new Quake episode.

The free download can be acquired through this zip file (will auto-download when clicked) and to install, all you have to do is extract it into its own subdirectory in the Quake directory.

PC Gamer says you will then need to run the “Dopa” batch file and that's all there is to it.

During E3 2016, Bethesda announced Quake Champions which is a competitive arena-style FPS for PC. More information Bethesda will share more details at QuakeCon in October.
