Witcher 2 pre-orders hit 111,842, Polish edition pre-orders maxed

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is out next week, and CD Projekt RED has sent word that pre-orders for the saucy RPG have reached the 111,842 mark.

The firm said 40 percent of those pre-orders were for the digital premium edition, and the entire 9,999 available offering of the Polish Collector's Edition have also been pre-ordered. The availability of the limited edition versions are also "dwindling" in other regions as well.

These figures will likely get higher as the game marches toward its May 17 international release day.
