Winner crowned in MLB 2K12 Perfect Game Challenge, $1M cardboard check presented by Kate Upton

2K Sports has announced a new champion in the MLB 2K12 Perfect Game Challenge. The winner, 21-year-old Christopher Gilmore who is a pitcher at Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida, will be featured in a 30-minute special on Spike TV on May 24 and awarded $1 million for winning a live, single-elimination tournament at the MLB Fan Cave in New York City. Gilmore went head-to-head in the tournament against Charles Bates of Conway, Arkansas and bested him 10-1. The tournament field was made up of the top-eight ranked individuals from a qualifying phase with over 900 verified perfect games out of 1 million attempts. MLB 2K12 is available on PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, and Xbox 360.
