Windows Store paid-game downloads up 34.12% in November, free game downloads hit 16.7 million 

Windows Store paid-game downloads were up 34.12% in November, according to Microsoft with total downloads in November hitting 1,311,209. In October, 72.12% of all paid downloads were games, according to TechCrunch which predicts paid downloads for November could eventually total 1.82 million on the Windows Store. Free game downloads were also up by 13.41% in November with 16,744,484 downloaded. In November, Microsoft announced that more than 1,000 games had been brought to the Windows 8 platform due to Unity engine support.
