Windows: Games on Demand to have 100 new titles by year's end

Microsoft has announced that Games on Demand for Windows will soon be getting day-and-date game releases from the likes of 2K, Capcom, Rockstar, THQ, Ubisoft and of course, Microsoft.

New non-Live titles will be released via GoD every week, and more than 100 new titles are promised by the end of the year.

Also, to celebrate the launch of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands on the service, MS is offering Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for 75 percent off at 200 MSP/$2.49.

Non-Live titles now available include:

  • Age of Empires III
  • Assassin's Creed 2
  • Borderlands
  • Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
  • Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne
  • Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction
  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
