UPDATED: Wii U Premium bundle halted in Japan, replaced by Sports Club pack - rumour

Nintendo appears to have stopped production of its 32GB Premium Wii U console packs, in favour of a new bundle that includes Wii Sports Club content.

UPDATE: Our local Nintendo rep has this to say when we contacted them about the bundle:

"this is a Japanese announcement and we don't have anything similar to announce for the UK."

ORIGINAL STORY: The image above comes from Nintendo of Japan's official site, which lists the new console pack at ¥30,000, releasing March 27. It appears to include a 32GB Wii U console plus GamePad, passes for Wii Sports Club events Tennis, Bowling and Golf, as well as a WiiMote controller and wrist strap.

As suggested by NeoGAF, Nintendo appears to have replaced the standard, game-less Premium pack with this new deal.

More as it comes.
