Wii U Deluxe pre-order allotment already met across GameStop stores - report

Wii U Deluxe allotted pre-orders at GameStop have been filled "company wide" in the US, according to a report on Polygon.

Stores across various states confirmed to the site that the allotted pre-orders had already been filled, some stores reached half of the allotment within hours of the console's release date being announced.

Employees said they were unsure whether more Deluxe editions would be available for pre-order leading up to launch in November.

Industry analyst Michael Pachter said Thursday, he expected Nintendo would initially manufacture no more than "1 million units per month to start, so expect 1 million U.S., 1 million Europe, 1 million UK."
