Wii Fit U coming to US retail next week

Nintendo of America has confirmed a bricks-and-mortar release for Wii Fit U later this month.

CVG reports Wii Fit U arrives in-store in North America on January 10.

In stores, Wii Fit U will be available in a bundle with a balance board and fit meter for $90, but you can also use your old balance board and grab just the game and fit meter for $50.

If you've got the digital version, you can just grab the fit meter for $20; this will also unlock the full game if you've downloaded the free one month trial.

The generational sequel to the best-selling fitness compilation, Wii Fit U is already available on Nintendo's eShop in Europe and North America. It also arrived at European retail in December.
