Sega's confirmed on the latest 4 Guys 1UP podcast that the US release of Yakuza 3 will see English voice-overs in the game.

He said: "The bulk of the cost is actually the [voice-overs].

"A lot of lines in [Yakuza 3], so obviously the more expensive it gets, you wanna land the right actors, voice the right parts."

He added: "Whenever Sega brings a game over [to the US] and makes the investment, the heavy investment, into localization, we’re talking over 500, 600, 700K to localize this game. Lot of voices, lot of different peeps, lot of different characters."

It's the first time a Yakuza game has gotten an English dub since the original back in 2005. Yakuza 2 was all Japanese in 2007.

The game gets released in the West in March. The news was announced last month.
