West of Dead open beta returns to Xbox One, and comes to Steam

Twin-stick shooter West of Dead, starring Ron Perlman as William Mason, is back in open beta on Xbox One and is ready for players on PC.

The West of Dead open beta is available from today on Xbox One and Steam and will run through February 24. It's noted in the announcement Steam users will need to use a gamepad for this beta.

This is the second open beta to be held on Xbox One as the first went live in November when the game was announced at X19.

In the game, Pearlman lends his voice to a dead fella who has woken up in Purgatory with only the memory of a figure in black.

You can expect procedurally generated areas where you will shoot, dodge and slide through the underworld.

Developed by UK-based Upstream Arcade, the game will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass (at launch), PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC this spring.
