Wednesday's Develop Awards to break event attendance record

This year's Develop Awards will set a new attendance record for the event, according to a press release sent out by organisers this morning.

Over 550 people from 140 countries that consist of designers, programmers, artists and studio bosses will be at the ceremony in Brighton this week.

Rovio, Crytek, Epic/People Can Fly, Playdead, Mojang, Microsoft and Sony, to name a few, will make the numbers at the event, making it the most attended Develop Awards in its nine year history.

The Development Legend award will be awarded to Eidos life-president Ian Livingstone, as previously announced.

The event takes place on Wednesday as part of Develop this week.
