Satoru Iwata, long-time president and face of Nintendo, passed away last July. Ever since then, the games community at large paid continued to pay respects, each in their own way.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, who often appeared alongside Iwata during the company's various Direct events, took the stage at The Game Awards last night to bid the late icon farewell.
