Watch new co-op gameplay of Super Mario Odyssey

Mario fans were delighted to find out back in June that Super Mario Odyssey does in fact support local co-op.

At the time, Nintendo showed gameplay footage of Super Mario Odyssey where one player controlled Mario, while the other controlled Cappy.

Now, Nintendo has released new gameplay showing co-op action in the Wooded Kingdom area. The video, seen below, has Nintendo regulars Kit and Krysta each holding a Joy-Con controller as they run through part of the level. We get a tour of the level, and some of the new features such as the in-game store.

Super Mario Odyssey is out October 27 on Nintendo Switch. Reviews for the game will drop this week, but one review has already made it out, awarding the game a 10/10.
