Watch Dogs Legion to release alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X - report

It looks like Watch Dogs Legion is coming a little later than we expected.

Watch Dogs Legion, which was initially meant to launch earlier this year, was delayed alongside other major Ubisoft games to various points over the course of the year.

Watch Dogs Legion was expected in the second half of this year. Now, according to VGC's sources, it appears this actually means Legion will release this holiday alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Ubisoft previously confirmed that Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine and three other major games are all coming to next-gen consoles, so the news isn't particularly surprising. After all, the original Watch Dogs also benefited from releasing at the launch of PS4 and Xbox One.

With that in mind, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed in an interview with The New York Times that the publisher is happy to delay games if PS5 and Xbox Series X get pushed back, but pointed out that coronovairus hasn't significantly impacted the development schedule for its games.
