Watch Dogs Legion has a cool Assassin's Creed Easter egg

Ubisoft loves to hide little Easter eggs in its games, and Watch Dogs Legion is no different.

We recently got to play a few hours of Watch Dogs Legion. Kirk was particularly impressed with the games seemingly infinite protagonists, as he spent a lot of his hands-on time scanning random people to build the perfect team of DedSec operatives.

One other neat detail tucked away in near-future London was this callback to Assassin's Creed. Not any game in particular, just the series' trademark moment where the character approaches a high ledge, looks down and elegantly dives. There are no haystacks to break the fall, however, just water.

It even plays the eagle call when you do it! I particularly like the janky cut from regular gameplay to the character syncing into the Assassin's Creed position. Watch it all below and click the link at the top for our gameplay impressions.

Watch Dogs Legion releases October 29 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia. You can preorder and check out the contents of the Gold Edition on Amazon US here. Readers in the UK get the same contents as part of Amazon's exclusive edition.
