Wasteland 2 guide: Canyon of Titan

Entering the Canyon of Titan

The first people you come across in the Canyon of Titan will be wounded or dying. They ask for help, so use the Surgeon skill to heal a man and gain access to cheap supplies.

Side Quest: Help a Merchant find his Missing Wife

On the other side of the path is another man near a wounded raider. Talk to him and he'll tell you that raiders took his wife. You can offer to help him but he waffles on about how you shouldn't because the monks will find out. Use the Hard Ass or Kiss Ass skill if they're high enough and you'll be able to use the conversation cues Trust and Attack. We used Trust.

Accept the quest and he leads the way to a bandit camp. The monk and the raiders are dead, but so is his wife. Kill the badgers to complete the quest. Go back the way you came turning southeast when you see the gated area. You can enter here for loot but it's rigged with traps so be careful. Talk to Salt who wants a toll. Go back down the road from him until you're approached by a "shadowy figure". Follow him and talk to him and he'll tell you about the Diamondback Militia. They want to kill the Mad Monks because their god is a nuke. He will give you directions but Kiss Ass and Smart Ass skills will result in better results.

Now go back to Salt and his bandits, ignoring them and passing down the path beside them. You'll meet Brother Chavez who tells you to go down the path to Outpost One and ask for his cart.

As you go down the path you'll get pulled into a cutscene. The woman will ask a serious favour - it's up to you if you do it or use your Surgeon skill. We did as she requested.

Go on to the area full of monks and raiders. You're in for a fight here, so keep your distance from the monk's nuclear grenades and finish them all off. Continue forward once they're dead until you get to Outpost One where you should speak with Brother Franks. He wants you to bring three radioactive goops to the Temple of Titan as a tribute. Agree to this, tell him about Brother Chavez, and go through the gate.

Gathering your Tribute to Titan

You now have a monk with you, so monks and even some raiders won't attack. Go down the first veering path you come across and you'll see three spies watching the monks. Kill them.

Back on the main path you'll get pulled into a battle with Diamondback Militia. Once they're deal with follow the path until you meet Skunk Pig. Accept his quest and take him back to Outpost One and Brother Franks and you'll have less trouble with raiders.

Go across the bridge ahead and open the gate to the southeast path. Kill the badgers and use the container you were given to collect the goop from the radioactive barrel.

Go back to Outpost One and through the gate, down the main path and veer off to where you came across Skunk Pig earlier. Follow the path and you'll find the next barrel with a raider guarding it. You can either use the Hard Ass skill to get it for free or give him some money to buy what you need. Use the container - you now have your second lot of goop. Go past the raiders until you come to another outpost.

There's bodies everywhere. Go through the gate and over the bridge and follow the path until it veers off in different directions. Go down the ditch-like area and pass under the bridge until you come to an alarm rigged safe - go up the right hand side to encounter bandits. Kill them, get your container and fill it with goop, then go back along the path and this time follow is as it veers left.

Over the bridge, past the water truck (sadly broken) and through the next outpost you'll reach the end of the path. Interact with the icon and you are about to pass into the Temple of Titan.
