Warriors Orochi 3 trailer shows Ryu, Ayane in action
In addition to a new cast members introduced with this game, this Warriors Orochi 3 trailer shows guest characters from other Koei Tecmo properties holding their own against the Sengoku and Three Kingdoms era warriors.
New additions Kaguya, Shutendoji, and Ne Zha are first of the bat, but Ninja Gaiden's Ryu Hayabusa; Dead or Alive's Ayane; Bladestorm's Jeanne d'Arc; Warriors: Legends of Troy's Achilles; and Zill O'll's Nemea are all seen in action.
Orochi slayer Susanoo is also going to appear.
Warriors Orochi 3 is set to include the largest number of warriors of the whole franchise to date, bringing in characters introduced in Samurai Warriors 3, Dynasty Warriors 7 and both their Xtreme Legends releases in addition to the existing cast, for over 120 playable characters.
The game, called Warriors Orochi 2 in Japan, is due on December 22 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A Western release has not been announced, but both previous games made it.
