Warriors: Legends of Troy stealthily released in US

KOEI America has gone dark on Warriors: Legends of Troy, leaving even retailers confused as to when and on what it will release. But it's turning up in mailboxes regardless.

According to fan hub KOEI Warriors, US residents who pre-ordered a PlayStation 3 copy of the game through Amazon.com have received their packages.

Other retailers were not expecting the game until its delayed launch date of March 15.

Adding to the confusion is the sudden cessation of Xbox 360 marketing efforts, with all Microsoft logos vanishing overnight from official materials, despite stronger sales on that platform in the past.

At the time of the game's release delay, a Koei representative commented that the game needed "fixing".

We've contacted KOEI US to see what's going on with the US launch. Warriors: Legends of Troy is still expected in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on both platforms next week.
