Warner has a three-year plan in place for LEGO Dimensions

TT Games and Warner have plans to add ore content to its toys-to-life game LEGO Dimensions for the next three years. And possibly, more.

Speaking with Eurogamer at EGX, the game's associate producer Mark Warburton said the technology was "created to the degree" that it meets the developer's needs for the future.

"We've created the toy pad so that it shouldn't need to be updated," he said, "and we can just create new level and character packs to keep expanding that."

Those who aren't interested in buying every single toy pack for the game don't need to either: according to Warburton, the game can be completed with just the starter set.

"You can 100% the game and get the Platinum trophy just from the base set," he said. "People have been playing LEGO games for 10 years now, and we shouldn't be offering anything less than that."

LEGO Dimensions launches for PlayStation 3, PS4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 27 in North America and September 29 in Europe.
