Warframe alpha trailer shows off Digital Extremes' F2P effort

Warframe is a third-person, free-to-play sci-fi shooter from the team behind The Darkness 2, and now we can look at it in action.

The trailer starts off with a re-introduction to the game's plot, but moves onto what we're all here for - super ninja powers in a team shooter context. Digital Extremes did an excellent job bringing unusual powers to a shooter with The Darkness 2, which makes me pretty excited to see how Warframe shapes up.

Warframe sports procedurally generated, multiplayer PvE action, loads of customisation, and - to reiterate - awesome ninja powers. Sign up for the beta which starts in northern winter.
