6 million War Thunder fans can now unleash hell from land and air

Gaijin Entertainment has launched the Ground Forces Expansion for War Thunder on PC.

The 1.41 update allows players to create their own military force made up of aircrafts as well as tanks. Improved player progression ensures fans can build an "arsenal to match their style of play."

Players currently have access to Soviet and German vehicles in Ground Forces with other nations rolling out later. Dozens of light, medium and heavy tanks are available to choose from, as well as self-propelled artillery and anti-air guns.

Additional ground vehicles and new maps will be added in future updates, and in the current update, all of the existing aerial game modes have stayed intact with some tweaks, improvements, and 10 new aircrafts such as the US Navy bomber PBJ-1H with its mighty 75-mm cannon.

The Ground Forces Expansion release date on PS4 will be announced soon.
