War of the Human Tanks launches today, looks Japan-awesome

War of the Human Tanks is the anime-centric strategy PC game from studio Yakiniku Banzai. It's rather cute, very mad and right up the street of anyone who favours quirky Japanese games. It's available to buy in the west today, courtesy of localisation team Fruitbat Factory .

In a press release sent to VG247 this morning, War of the Human Tanks was described as a "strategic tour-de-force," that features 30 maps, customisable weapon, upgrade and tank options, as well as a story campaign with multiple endings.

There's even a new game plus mode, and the western build features bonus maps, while the deluxe version includes the game's official soundtrack.

You can check out the War of the Human tanks product page over at Japanese indie hub Rice Digital, and buy either the standard edition for £8.99 or deluxe edition at £10.99 now.
