Want to host EVE Fanfest? Submit a video pitch about your house

Fans will need to submit videos by October 12, 2018 if they'd like to enjoy EVE Fanfest from home.

EVE Online is one of the most unique MMORPGs ever made, and the EVE Fanfest convention is its perfect match. Previous years have seen everything from war planning to a wedding conducted by a space pope, and for 2019 one lucky fan will celebrate from their house.

As CCP previously announced, EVE Fanfest 2019 will be held in a variety of locations, including the home and surrounding town of an EVE Online player. Now CCP has kicked off the official video submission contest. Participants have until October 12 to submit a 30-60 second video pitch as to why their house should host the event.

The full rules are available here, but just as a reminder - this is a full convention, complete with a Permaband performance, roundtable discussions, a keynote speaker, and a charity dinner. While Fanfest will be scaled to match its chosen home, you might want to make sure it won't frustrate your neighbors.

The EVE Fanfest 2019 results will be judged by a CCP expert panel, with the winner announced at EVE Vegas 2018.
