Yoichi Wada has come out and said that Final Fantasy XI is not coming to an end.
The Square Enix president's comments come after rumours started flying about yesterday that the company was going to shut down the seven year old MMO to make room for Final Fantasy XIV for PC and PS3.
He, however, insists that's not the case.
"There seems to be a rumor that FFXI is ending, but if that was done, we'd be in trouble," he said in a tweet.
Well, no worries yet about it closing. You can resume as normal.
Final Fantasy XIV, meanwhile, releases sometime later this year.
