Volume Vita delayed a couple of weeks

Volume still supports cross-buy, but the Vita version will be a little tardy.

Mike Bithell's stealth adventure won't be going portable for a little while.

The Steam and PS4 versions are still on track, but the Vita release has been pushed back "a couple weeks".

"It’s so very nearly ready, but it needs a little more love," Bithell wrote on the Volume website.

"A few personal problems and issues have slowed down our submittal, so even though the game is 'done' on Vita, we still have some QA process to go through (because that stuff matters)."

That's a shame, but cross-buy is still in effect so no worries there.

Volume, a futuristic retelling of Robin Hood myths, hits Steam on August 18 (just a few hours from now) and arrives on PS4 on August 18 in North American and August 19 in Europe.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
