Vita TV commercial does a good job of selling the living room dream

This Japanese commercial for the Vita TV tracks the daily life of one family over the course of decades as their living room habits change and evolve; it puts a pretty strong emphasis on the TV as something whole families can share, which makes Sony's new device seem pretty attractive.

Although Sony seems hesitant to commit, noting that the Vita TV needs a new strategy for western release, it's admitted that demand has been stronger than it anticipated.
