Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown trailer includes Fuudo endorsement

Fuudo may be best known for his Street Fighter IV EVO championship, but the eSports champion honed his skills on Virtua Fighter, and has lent his face to Sega for this trailer.

In the video below, Fuudo gives his approval of balancing changes introduced in Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, a further revision of the 2007 release which arrived in Japanese arcades last year and should hit western consoles in northern summer.

The EVO champ revealed it was while playing Virtua Fighter that he acquired his handle, which refers to an old habit of wearing a hoodie while playing, but he also has a high regard for the game when stacked against competitors.

"With Virtua Fighter, I feel there is an extra layer of concentration when it comes to reading the other player's moves, compared to the other fighting games.

"I like the fact that you actually feel like you're playing against another person in Virtua Fighter."
