Vampyr is coming to Switch

Focus Home Interactive has announced that it's bringing Dontnod's Vampyr to Nintendo Switch.

As part of Focus Home's Financial results [PDF] for the first half of FY18/19 (via ResetEra), the publisher revealed that Vampyr has been a success on the three platforms it launched on.

Those, of course, being PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In order to "maximise the potential of the licence", Focus will be bringing the game to Nintendo Switch. Though this detail is mentioned in the release, a Switch port has yet to be officially announced.

This brief note about the game also doesn't mention a release target, but the port is mentioned in the French publisher's plan for the third quarter of FY18/19. This could mean that it'll be out before the end of December, but Focus' previous FY lasted 15 months.

It would make sense for the port to be out in 2019, unless Focus is planning to announce and release it in short order.

Vampyr recently received a big patch that added a narrative-focused Story Mode for those who weren't fans of its combat. There's also a new, higher difficulty for those who loved it.
