Valve's Saxxy Awards is back for a third year

Valve has announced that it's bringing back the Saxxy Awards for a third year. As always, the awards will be given to those with exceptional talent in making clips using Source Filmmaker and Team Fortress 2 assets.

The publisher has however changed some categories for this year. The Replay category is no longer available as Valve feels the awards have grown to be more about movies rather than replays. It will however add a new Short category, which will be limited to videos no longer than one minute.

Valve will also merge the Original IP category into the other categories.

Submissions will be accepted from 4PM November 11 through 4PM November 18, Pacific Standard Time.

Last year's winners were featured on the VGAs pre-show.

Thanks, PCGamesN
