Valve: Realism Vs. mode is here to stay

Valve’s said it's soon to make the Realism Vs. mode from Left4Dead 2’s new mutation system a permanent feature.

Fans voted to keep the Realism Vs. mode, which allows players to take part in the Vs. mode with realism options turn on, in a poll on the game's official website.

The final results were 68 percent "Yes", 21 percent "No", and 11 percent "No opinion".

On a related note, Valve also said this week’s new Mutation would be Follow the Liter. In this mode, only one group of cans spawn at a time, allowing survivors to know exactly where to go: the only problem being that the infected also hot on their heels.

Left4Dead 2 was released on November 17, 2009 in the US and November 20 in Europe. Currently the game has an 89 rating on Metacritic.
