Valve has already had to remove fake projects from Steam Greenlight

Steam Greenlight launched yesterday, and Valve has already had to remove fake projects from the service.

Valve has quickly intervened, and is banning those who create fake entries from Steam's community services.

One of the entries removed was a 9/11 inspired "game" titled "Best WTC Plane Simulator". Other submitted entries removed had racial connotations.

Greenlight launched yesterday with 30 projects, and as of today there are over 590; however, the number keeps changing as Valve wields its removal hammer.

Thanks, Eurogamer.
